Golfers raise funds for Wellington Middle School program

Grant Family Farms of Wellington (Colorado) took first place in the annual golf tournament that raised about $1,300 for the Eagles After Hours Program at Wellington Middle School. Places and team members follow:

First place, Grant Family Farms: Mike Bartolementi, Jim Korinek and Nick DiGiorgio.

Second place, Fantastic 4: Mike Kruger, Cody Kruger, David Linehan and Denny Brown.

Third place, determined by a tie breaker, went to Beauregard’s: Johnathon Rashleigh, Harry Fletcher, Nicole Stirler and Wayne Stirler.

Fourth place, Finish Line Awards: Don Brown, Matt Ruddell, Michael Blackwell and Dan Manske.

Next year’s golf tournament is scheduled for Sept. 11. The event will include a celebration of the country’s armed forces, firefighters and law enforcement agencies, and it will be a tribute to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terrorist attacks and to those that have given their lives in the fight against terrorism.
